Fair Usage Policy

This Fair Usage Policy ("Policy") is an integral part of the service agreement between BLS Broadband LLC ("BLS Broadband") and its customers. The Policy outlines the guidelines for the acceptable and responsible use of the wireless internet service provided by BLS Broadband.

Purpose The purpose of this Policy is to ensure fair and equitable use of network resources, prevent network congestion, and maintain optimal network performance to provide a consistent quality of service for all customers.

Acceptable Use Customers are expected to use the internet service provided by BLS Broadband in a manner that aligns with local laws, regulations, and community standards. Acceptable use includes, but is not limited to:

Accessing and browsing websites and online services.
Sending and receiving emails.
Streaming audio and video content.
Engaging in online gaming and other recreational activities.
Conducting legitimate business activities.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or termination of the customer's internet service:

Engaging in any illegal activities, including but not limited to copyright infringement, hacking, or spreading malware.
Engaging in activities that cause harm or disruption to the network or other users, such as network attacks or excessive bandwidth consumption.
Engaging in any activity that violates the privacy or security of others, including unauthorized access to networks, systems, or data.
Engaging in activities that generate significant amounts of traffic that disproportionately affect the network or other customers.
Engaging in activities that result in a violation of BLS Broadband's service agreement or any applicable laws or regulations.

Traffic Management

BLS Broadband reserves the right to manage network traffic in order to maintain optimal network performance and deliver a consistent quality of service. This may include implementing traffic shaping or prioritization techniques during periods of network congestion. BLS Broadband will make reasonable efforts to minimize any impact on customer experience.

Enforcement and Remedies In the event of a violation of this Policy, BLS Broadband may take appropriate actions, including but not limited to:

Issuing warnings and reminders to customers regarding their usage.
Implementing usage restrictions or limitations on specific activities.
Temporarily suspending or throttling the customer's internet service.
Terminating the customer's internet service for repeated or severe violations.

Amendments

BLS Broadband reserves the right to modify or update this Fair Usage Policy as needed. Any changes will be communicated to customers in a timely manner, and continued use of the service after the effective date of the changes will constitute acceptance of the revised Policy.
